Kunafa is one of the most delicious Arabic sweets that is eaten in Ramadan, especially due to the popularity of kunafa, as it has many recipes.
The recipes differ in different countries. Each country has a description of the kunafa that is famous for it. For example, in Egypt, they are famous for the Kunafa Muawiyah, but in Palestine, they are famous for the Nabulsi Kunafa.
Usually, the Arabs, especially the people of Syria and Palestine, use a type of cheese called Nabulsi cheese or akkawi, and since these types of cheese are not widespread at all in most countries of the world, we will make Kunafa with mozzarella cheese.
Today I will share with you the wonderful kunafa with cheese, which we will prepare in 10 minutes, and you will get an authentic Arabic taste of kunafa with cheese.
What distinguishes this recipe from others is that it will be prepared using the cocker and in a very short time
But as we are used to when making any kind of Arabic Desserts, we must prepare the syrup first.

INGREDIENTS

- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
INSTRUCTIONS
Â
- Add sugar and water to a pot on the stove without stirring
- When it starts to boil, reduce the temperature and add lemon juice
- Leave the mixture for 15 minutes
- Put the kunafa syrup in a jar until it cools
- The end result is a kunafa syrup
NOTES
This quantity is suitable for making a konafa tray size 28/30/32
The konafa syrup should be of medium thickness
To make any quantity by measuring A cup of water for every cup of sugar

Equipment

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water

INGREDIENTS

- 400 grams kunafa
- Half cup melted butter (200 grams)
- half cup oil (200 ml)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon black honey
- 300 grams Mozzarella chees
- 3 tablespoon icing sugar
INSTRUCTIONS

- In a large bowl, put the kunafa and cut it into small pieces
- Add ghee and oil to the kunafa
- Mix the kunafa with butter and oil well
- In a small bowl, put a spoonful of butter and a spoonful of black honey on it
- Mix black honey and butter well
- Take a frying pan and grease it with butter and honey well from the base and sides
- Put half the quantity of kunafa in the pan and press it well
- Using a plate or tray, press the kunafa firmly
- Mix the cheese with powdered sugar, then put it on the kunafa, making sure that the cheese is in the middle
- Put half of the remaining kunafa on the cheese
- On a completely quiet fire, hold the pan and turn it clockwise until the edges start to take a golden color (do not leave the pan in the middle of the fire so that it does not burn)
- When the cooking is complete, the sides will be non-sticky in the pan and have taken on a golden color. When you reach this stage, the kunafa is ready to be flipped on the other side.
- Flip the kunafa on the other side
- Return the kunafa to the pan again and arrange the sides so that they are equal
- In the same way, as before, turn the frying pan over low heat, clockwise
- Flip the kunafa again on the serving plate
- Put the syrup on the kunafa and leave it until the syrup is completely absorbed
- Garnish konafa with Arabic cheese with a little ground pistachio
